During my time in Thulo Pakhar, I formed an affinity with one of the school sites in particular Chamuna. This site was remote, located halfway down a valley, contoured with rice terraces. During the earthquake 9 of the classrooms collapsed - thankfully with no children inside. There are 130 enrolled at the school with approximately 80 in attendance when I was there. While work was being carried out on site, the children were relocated to a tin shed further up the valley to continue their studies. Below shows the process and progress of Chamuna school over its 5 month construction.
